I realized the other day why I like stories of heroes coming into their own so much.

It reminds me of me.  It makes me determined to be that person that everyone can look at and go, “Wow, look at how much he’s improved.”

And that, my friends, is my reason to keep going.

I’m inspired not by what I could have, but what I could be.
